is the T in GLBT

City of Lakes Crossgender Community was founded in 1983 to provide support for All Transgender people in the area. CLCC has grown over the years to provide many fun and exciting social activies as well as Transgender education and outreach. CLCC is the oldest and largest Transgender support group in the five state region. With members who travel five hours to attend.

CLCC has been a long time participant of the TC Pride parade as well as staffing outreach booths at Loring park and other venues providing honest information about Transgender issues using both printed materal and real life Questions and Answers.

City of Lakes Crossgender Community is proud to host many social events that are open to all members of the TG community and allies. Such as our Halloween Party with a costume contest and the Annual CLCC Awards Banquet as part of our Spring Fling. CLCC is a not-for-profit organization.

The Annual CLCC Awards Banquet in the spring is when we honor those members of the community for their hard work and effort during the year. Held at a local Hotel it is a formal dress event also includes dinner and dancing. A summer picnic and Holiday party in December are also CLCC traditions.
